The current prescription charge is £9.65 per item which is the same price your local pharmacy will charge. You may be entitled to free prescriptions if you meet specific NHS criteria. For example, if you are aged 60 and over, on income support or under 16 you are entitled to free prescriptions. Visit the NHS page on Who can get free prescriptions to find out if you qualify.

If you pay for your repeat prescriptions, you may want to consider an NHS Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC) which will save you money if you need 2 or more repeat prescriptions a month

An NHS repeat prescription is a directive from your doctor to provide you with the necessary medication for treating a specific medical condition on an ongoing basis. Essentially, your doctor has authorized the provision of this medication in the future, without the need for you to schedule an appointment each time you run out of your medication.

We can send the delivery to any address you prefer, whether it’s your home, your workplace, or to a caregiver or neighbour. If you’re not available to receive the delivery, you can select a safe place where it can be left. In case the delivery still can’t be made, a card will be left for you, allowing you to arrange another delivery at no additional cost.
