Inadequate blood flow, such as constricted blood vessels or narrowed arteries, can also contribute to ED. Additionally, conditions affecting the heart, like smoking, often correlate with ED.

Other physical factors may include heavy drinking and the side effects of certain prescribed medications, including those used for high blood pressure or heart disease.

Psychological factors, such as stress, anxiety, depression, sexual monotony, and relationship conflicts, can also play a significant role in ED.
