This low-sodium 48-hour treatment for cystitis symptoms comes in convenient sachets, with each pack containing 6 sachets that can be mixed with water to create cranberry-flavored drinks. Cystopurin addresses cystitis symptoms by neutralizing urine acidity, providing relief from the burning and stinging pain experienced during urination.

Commencing Cystopurin treatment at the initial onset of symptoms can typically lead to an improvement within a few hours.

Cystopurin is suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and above.

How to Use

• Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
• Patient Information Leaflets are updated periodically by the manufacturer.

Directions for Use:

• Adults and children aged 6 years and above: Empty the contents of one sachet into a small glass of cold water (200ml) and stir until the granules dissolve, creating a fruit-flavored drink. Take one sachet dissolved in water three times daily for two days.
• Ensure you complete the course by taking all six sachets.

Consult your doctor if symptoms persist beyond the 48-hour treatment.

Hazards and Cautions

Before Taking Cystopurin:

• Do not take Cystopurin if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Potassium citrate or any of the other ingredients in Cystopurin.
• If you have a history of kidney disease, do not take Cystopurin.

Before Taking Cystopurin, Consult Your Doctor If:

• You have a history of heart problems
• Your urine is dark or cloudy, contains blood, or you experience unusually heavy vaginal discharge
• You have stomach, groin, or back pain
• You have a high body temperature and feel generally tired
• You suffer from phenylketonuria, as this product contains aspartame

Do not exceed the stated dose.

Do not take Cystopurin if you are pregnant or have had kidney or heart disease without first consulting your doctor.

Storage

Do not store above 25°C.

Do not take Cystopurin after the expiry date stated at one end of the carton and on the sachet. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Precautions

• Self-treatment may not be suitable for some individuals.
• Seek medical advice before using any product for cystitis if you are male, the patient is a child, or if you are a female experiencing any of the following symptoms: vaginal bleeding or discharge, recurrent cystitis, nausea, vomiting, fever, lower back pain, loin tenderness, or persistent cystitis symptoms.

• This is a medicine; consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.
