Benylin Children’s Night Coughs provides effective relief from children’s cough and congestion. It also helps relieve runny nose and sneezing associated with hayfever and other allergies.

• Suitable for Children between 6-12 years of age

Age Restriction

You must be at least 16 years old to purchase this product.

How to Use

Before use, please read the enclosed leaflet carefully.

For oral use only.

Children 6 to 12 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls every 6 hours.

Not suitable for children under 6 years.

Do not use more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

Do not use for more than 5 days without the advice of a doctor. Do not use to sedate a child.

As with all medicines, if your child is currently taking any other medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist before this product is taken.

Do not give with any other cough and cold medicine.

Diabetics: This product contains sorbitol (carbohydrate content approximately 1.78g per 5ml).

Advice for older children and adults: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or worsen.

Storage

Store below 30ºC.

Hazards and Cautions

Before using this product:

• DO NOT EXCEED STATED DOSE.
• MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS. IF AFFECTED, DO NOT DRIVE OR OPERATE MACHINERY.
• AVOID ALCOHOLIC DRINK.
• Do not use if bottle seal is broken when purchased.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• Always read the enclosed patient information leaflet carefully.

This is a medicine; Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist. Seek advice before using if you are breastfeeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.

Active Ingredients:

• Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride
• Levomenthol.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Each 5ml of cough syrup contains Multiple Active Ingredients: Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 7 mg, Levomenthol 0.55mg.

Also contains: Sorbitol solution (E420), Ethanol 5%. (See leaflet).

Sodium content: 16.47 mg/5ml.
